More then one connectin can be made.  The error occurs, IIRC, when you are
downloading a packet, and your system wants to toss it while it is
downloading. That seems to stick in my mind.  I changed the way things get
tossed.  I could not think of a way to make it wait until the download wqs
actually finished, so I had an event do the tossing
