I don't autocreate areas, and at some point I may even weed out the dead echos. TK> In my OS/2 system I have a special home-made golded2jamnntpd TK> converter. ;) Nice. Too bad it's only for OS/2, otherwise I probably could have used that as well, seeing as though Golded and JamNNTPd both access the same areas defined by fidoconfig. :) NB>> I'm reaching out to Matt to see if he's willing to share his NB>> secrets. :) TK> I checked the sources about level 4 but since I'm not a C programmer, TK> I'll have to wait for Matt's release too. :). Same here. I only noticed a place in xlat.c that mentioned only level 1 and 2 in an if statement, so I added a level 4 option to it which caused a coredump. I'm certain there was somewhere else I needed to address the same, but didn't want to break things further since I had no idea what I was doing. Reverted back to the original code and everything is running smoothly once again besides the fact that the log messages state that level 4 is not supported. :) Regards, Nick ... "Не знаю.
