Thanks! That helped. I copied the Makefile.osx that was under the /src 
directory to the /src/cmnllib directory and ran the 'make'command
again:

flbessa@FLBESSA-M-X6Q0 crashmail-master % make osx
make -C src -f Makefile osx
make -C cmnllib -f Makefile.osx
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `crashmail/crashmail.c', needed by 
`obj/crashmail.o'.  Stop.
