I´m using feisty...

I have a Right Click - Send to option in all my menus. 

OK. It doesn't re-size pictures, but it does offer to compress in a tar or
zip. It works just fine other than that.

If you want to compress images, you'll need to re-size them in gimp or a.n.
other image manipulation program.
