Another annoying question from a guy used to Redhat stuff... ;-)
I have another laptop that is a little older that I'd like to install
Ubuntu (or perhaps Kubuntu) on. It is a PIII Dell Sub-Notebook. It does
not have a CD-ROM drive.
It currently runs Fedora 5, which is a piece of cake to put on my Win2k3
server's Remote Installation Server. Boot the laptop, F12 to boot from
LAN, select the install and go.
Ubuntu seems to need to be installed from the CD, though. I have searched
and searched google, but cannot find any reference to installing Ubuntu
from RIS.
Anyone ever try this and get it to work?
