Hi,
I am using Ubuntu Dapper. I have installed the nvi text editor using
"apt-get install nvi". I prefer using nvi over vim as this is what I am
used to on BSD.
I am having problems with keyboard input in nvi. When I press backspace,
it only moves the cursor to the left as though I were just pressing the
left cursor key, but it does not delete the previous character. It will
also not recognise the 'Home' and 'End' keys, and instead prints 'H' and
'f' when I press these keys.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to correct this problem ? Any help
would be appreciated.
