Marcel Gagne's Moving to Ubuntu Linux. Extremely well written and easy 
to follow. I would rate it as the top introductory book for Ubuntu. Has 
some subltle and some not so subtle humor in places too. Comes with a 
DVD of Dapper Drake 6.06 LTS as well.
