Yes, it is possible, and pretty easy...
System | Administration | Printing
Double-click "New Printer"
Click the button for "Network Printer"
Select "HP JetDirect" from the drop-down menu
Enter the IP Address (or DNS name)
Select the Printer Manufacturer and Driver...
When all done, print a test page, and you should be set.
This will also work for SMB or NFS printers, just using different options
above...
