Looking at Tbird, Claws and Balsa I'd say that they were more akin to a
2CV or Beetle. They do the job, but were never intended to be easy on
the eye. I'd rate Turnpike as a Rolls Silver Shadow by comparison.
Solid, reliable and very well - built, but long in the tooth and very
definitely not a modern vehicle.
