Canon's lack of Linux support is legendary. I ditched an otherwise nice
BJC5100 printer for that reason. I've had very good experiences with Epson
products - particularly from the Epson online store where they have very
good prices for refurbished products supported under 'iscan' software -
downloadable from avasys.jp.
