Looks like I found the log-on and log-off Ubuntu files.  They are 
/usr/share/sounds/login.wav and /usr/share/sounds/logout.wav.


One other thing is giving me problems tho...... the KDE wallet for
passwords.  I'm running 6.10 and the wallet keeps loosing passwords for
Kmail and Knode.  I've repeatedly checked the "save password" boxes in
every password dialog I've encountered - but kmail and knode ask me for
passwords and then Kwallet will ask for a password.

Any ideas on how to button down this password beast?
