I did . . . had ! I'm in the middle of a totally clean re-install. I didn't think moving /home to another partition had worked properly so I re-formatted that partition . . . . . . . . Ooops ! > >Do you really need to transfer your files to .ogg and edit >all the tags? No ! There's no way I ever go through that again ! It took me a whole Winter to rip all my CDs, LPs and some of the Audio Cassettes and 8-track tapes I had and tidy up the ID tags. (Younger readers will probably ask, 'Wot's an 8-track ?') I only converted about a dozen tracks from mp3 to ogg. Just so that I have a small selection of various file formats available to see what works and what doesn't. I believe that, for instance, .flv is a no-no under Linux. -- jjj --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5 * Origin: Omicron Theta BBS (1:261/20)
