Whilst perusing Usenet on Thu, 8 Mar 2007 06:11:59 +0000 (UTC), I read
these words from Moog :

I did . . . had ! I'm in the middle of a totally clean re-install.
I didn't think moving /home to another partition had worked
properly so I re-formatted that partition . . . . . . . . Ooops !

No ! There's no way I ever go through that again !
It took me a whole Winter to rip all my CDs, LPs and
some of the Audio Cassettes and 8-track tapes I had
and tidy up the ID tags.
(Younger readers will probably ask, 'Wot's an 8-track ?')
I only converted about a dozen tracks from mp3 to ogg.
Just so that I have a small selection of various file formats
available to see what works and what doesn't.
I believe that, for instance, .flv is a no-no under Linux.
