I believe Syncterm still uses SDL 1.x. Netrunner ventured into the 2.x realm
but there were plenty of side effects and bugs that weren't able to be fixed
until SDL2.x was updated. James had reported those bugs in SDL2.x and it took
them quite awhile to fix them. Obviously an ANSI telnet client wasn't on the
top of their "fix-it" list. :)
