Does anyone know of a "fix"? > Is this an isolated incident? I don't know why your having problems. I run slackware myself and have had problems with permissions at times. Maybe a file was created by root and others can't read it? When I've had problems I chown the directory along with all the files and directories within. chown -R username:group /sbbs If you run that command as root it'll change the ownership of all the files and directories in /sbbs to the user and group you provide. I hope that'll help. --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Toy-4 * Origin: The Rusty MailBox - Penticton, BC Canada (1:153/757) SEEN-BY: 1/123 15/2 135/377 153/105 135 250 757 6809 226/17 229/275 SEEN-BY: 229/354 426 616 1014 240/5832 249/206 317 400 267/67 280/464 SEEN-BY: 290/10 317/3 322/757 342/200 393/68 770/1 5020/932 PATH: 153/757 393/68 229/426 |
