Obviously it's in the repositories, the issue is what the distro
puts on the CD! Of course there are limits to what you can stuff
into the space, so the distributors have a difficult job deciding
what to pack in and what to leave out. It really depends what kind
of users they anticipate.
Wine is also left out of Mint I see.
