You should be able to do better than that. You could have more than two OSs
by including Windows. Windows 98 would be fine. What are you really trying
to do?
If you just want to dual boot Ubuntu and Feather, I'd suggest that you
partition your drive first to set up the partitions for them, and a
partition for the swap file. Having done that, install Feather first, and
the Ubuntu. Ubuntu will handle the grub dual boot better. Or get a simple
boot manager eg GAG. But why not Windows as well?
