Hi a.o.l.ubuntu!
I have a cups related problem which I am not able to solve. My cups
server is connected to a HP Color LaserJet 5550 which has a duplex unit
and a tray 3 installed. Printing from linux with lpoptions is working
correctly.
In the printers.conf it looks like this:
- --snip
DeviceURI ipp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/ipp/
State Idle
StateTime 1169032132
Accepting Yes
Shared Yes
JobSheets none none
QuotaPeriod 0
PageLimit 0
KLimit 0
OpPolicy default
ErrorPolicy abort-job
Option HPOption_Tray3 Tray3_500
Option HPOption_Duplexer True
- --snap
Now when I add the line "Option Duplex DuplexNoTumble" everything is
being printed two-sided as expected. Without this line though I cannot
print double sided with windows xp. I can chose to print double sided,
but the printer doesn't print it this way!
Anyone has a clue?
Daniel
