Dual boot install with XP went perfectly today.

I have a 8500LE Ati card with s-video out that I 
have been using with XP to watch videos on the TV.

How do I see what ati driver is currently installed
on the ubuntu system? I'm thinking I will have to
upgrade it to get the s-video to work. After searching
for solutions, I realize it may be a bit of a 
challenge for me so any help with this would be
much appreciated.
This is my first experience with linux.
