Yep, I survived after jumping a small hurdle.

This issue will only affect folks who use the newest e2fsprogs to create a new
file system. Rolling releases like archlinux are going to have to keep an eye
out for that and get the patch applied to grub or they will have issues.

One nice thing about stable releases is that these things are solved before a
new stable release.
