I already have one except I haven't done anything with it yet.  It's the 8G
one and the tentitive plan is to get a nvme disk to boot up on it.

For sure.  I am not a fan of the microsds other than for digital cameras and
the such (storage).  Booting to them is just too sad if you know what I mean.

8K?  Best I can do today is 4K given the lack of a 8K monitor ... and no there
is no plan for 8K here.
