I've learned much over the last 25 years (LFS) or so that I probably wouldn't
know otherwise.  Personally I wouldn't want it any other way which probably
explains why I started with Slackware provided source and build scripts.  They
were amd continue to be the best even when they aren't.  Though different LFS
is reminisent of the original purpose of all that is Linuxie.  I have never
seen the same degree of openness from any BSD distribution.

As always, gcc and friends.  Is there a better way?
