 MK> From this angle it looks like only fconfig requires ncurses and in
 MK> this nech of the woods that means ncurses-6.5.

# locate ncurses

/lib64/libncurses.so.6
/lib64/libncurses.so.6.4
/lib64/libncursest.so.6
/lib64/libncursest.so.6.4
/lib64/libncursestw.so.6
/lib64/libncursestw.so.6.4
/lib64/libncursesw.so.6
/lib64/libncursesw.so.6.4
/usr/lib64/libncurses++.so
/usr/lib64/libncurses++.so.6
/usr/lib64/libncurses++.so.6.4
/usr/lib64/libncurses++t.so
/usr/lib64/libncurses++t.so.6
/usr/lib64/libncurses++t.so.6.4
/usr/lib64/libncurses++tw.so
/usr/lib64/libncurses++tw.so.6
/usr/lib64/libncurses++tw.so.6.4
/usr/lib64/libncurses++w.so
/usr/lib64/libncurses++w.so.6
/usr/lib64/libncurses++w.so.6.4
/usr/lib64/libncurses.so
/usr/lib64/libncursest.so
/usr/lib64/libncursestw.so
/usr/lib64/libncursesw.so

so CMakefiles.txt does not use /usr/lib64 but only /usr/lib ?

anyone know how to solve this ?

make symlink from /lib64 to /lib ?
