I believe both the printers and corresponding form fed paper can still be
found.  At the moment I lack a 24-pin interface (aka parallel port) but I do
have one machine with two 9-pin interfaces (aka serial port).  I think the
widest dot matrix printer I've used in the past used 24 inch wide form fed
paper.  I don't recall the interface it used but it was very, very fast.  I
can still hear the high pitch noise that it made.
