I've forgotten about the laptop. It also has four. I haven't used it for
awhile and probably should get it up to speed. I am not fond of laptops but
in this case it makes a good platform for testing mobile gps apps that I
haven't played with in quite some time now. Not sure why that is given all
the past work I put into it.

Me too. I seriously doubt it'll be a threadripper or anything in that class
but I think I've seen enough of mini-PCs and would more than likely go for a
lowpower draw mini-itx based system. I am not holding my breath though and
the current plan is to make do with what I have. The wireless hotpots (two)
seem to be fairly stable. Nobody is complaining ... yet.
