   After updating to kernek 6.17.8, module i915 is no longer available kernel no   
   longer recognized my device's GPU. As a workaround I've force detection of the   
   GPU by the new xe driver, but it's reported as "not officially supported".   
   Turns out the i915    
   module is missing from the package. This is unexpected since the module is   
   available in the "vanilla" (non-rt) version of the same kernel:    
   inux-image-6.17.8+deb14-rt-amd64.
