XPost: linux.debian.bugs.dist       From: santiago@crfreenet.org              Hi              I also have Dell Pro 14 Plus PB14255 laptop. I managed to get sound       working in Debian by recompiling kernel package with these additional       settings:              CONFIG_SND_SOC_AMD_SOF_SDW_MACH=m       CONFIG_SND_SOC_AMD_LEGACY_SDW_MACH=m       CONFIG_SOUNDWIRE_AMD=m              The first one is not needed for this specific hardware, as the       associated module snd_acp_sdw_sof_mach is not used, but may be       useful for other hardware. Remaining two options are necessary,       as both snd_acp_sdw_legacy_mach and soundwire_amd modules are       required in order              I used kernel 6.17.13+deb13 from trixie-backports. I plan to       try it also with the regular 6.12.57+deb13 version from trixie.              So i think the minimum config change from message 21 in #1120479 should       cover this hardware.              --       Ondrej 'Santiago' Zajicek (email: santiago@crfreenet.org)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
