   Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

Note: Using old kernel 6.1.0-41 to file this report.
      * What led up to the situation?
After system update to kernel 6.1.0-42, my RTL8191S USB WiFi dongle is no
longer detected. The device works perfectly with kernel 6.1.0-41.

      * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
        ineffective)?
Workaround: Boot with kernel 6.1.0-41-amd64 - device works immediately
      * What was the outcome of this action?
WiFi dongle detected. Internet access restored.
      * What outcome did you expect instead?
Expected: Device should be detected and r8712u driver loaded
Actual: Device completely undetected, no light on dongle

   Steps to reproduce:
   1. Boot with kernel 6.1.0-42-amd64
   2. Plug in RTL8191S USB WiFi dongle
   3. Run: lsusb (device not listed)
   4. Check dmesg (no USB detection messages)
