   Hi Jeremy,   
      
   I'm interested in doing some of the work of bringing BuildStream 2.x   
   into Debian. (For context, I am a user of both Debian and BuildStream at   
   work, but am contributing here in a personal capacity.)   
      
   I've filed https://bugs.debian.org/1127157 to package buildbox for   
   Debian and have started working on that at   
   https://salsa.debian.org/tti0/buildbox. As I'm a new contributor to the   
   project, Sudip (on cc) has agreed to help me as a sponsor there.   
      
   Once we have buildbox into sid, I understand we will need to address   
   https://bugs.debian.org/1122578 and package pyroaring before looking to   
   update the BuildStream package for 2.x.   
      
   I am hopeful that we might be able to manage all this in time for forky,   
   but am conscious that I am new around here and am still getting to grips   
   with Debian as a developer. I am though happy to help where I can.
