   I'm very sorry that you got no response to your bug report including   
   patch for 15 years.  I personally do not feel able to competently review   
   your patch and I'm aware that upstream is not active any more.  Anyway,   
   I think it makes sense it you provide your patch as PR at   
      
      https://github.com/rdesktop/rdesktop/pulls   
      
   This might help contributors who might continue this projects to pick   
   the patch up directly into their code.
