When I started to put my packages in salsa, I was skeptical about this       pristine-tar thing. But one day I noticed that it helps Salsa CI       to build the package in some cases, especially when it's a -1 version.              The branch takes only a few bytes and it helps Salsa CI in some cases.              So I still think documentation should show available options and let       maintainers to decide about those things, either individually       or team-wise.              Thanks.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
