   I did upload the fix to unstable just now.   
      
   Regarding trixie yes I will let it to you. The fix must be done against the   
   kwin source not kwin-x11 since this was pre-split. I created a debian/trixie   
   branch in the salsa repo if you could submit the changes as an MR against this   
   branch it would be
