   Yes the fix is in kwin-x11in unstable.

   Yes same codebase, but someone need to do the fix there. src:kwin-x11 in   
   unstable/forky is a split of the X11 code from monolithic src:kwin we shipped   
   in trixie. So the same change [1] needs to be done against src:kwin in trixie.   
      
   I was asking the people affected if they could confirm the fix is OK in   
   unstable. The build logs say it's good but I haven't tested the result myself.
