   A!  A version 5 d/watch file is in rfc822-style: needs completely different   
   parser as in versions < 5.  I guess an old parser would indeed always choke   
   when confronted with a >=5 d/watch file...  :(   And it seems the   
   https://mentors.debian.net/package/ generator is using e.g.   
   devscripts 2.25.15+deb13u1 , and not devscripts 2.25.22~bpo13+1 nor devscripts   
   2.26.5 ...
