|    Bug#1128816: gnome-shell: Slow/broken an    |
|    23 Feb 26 12:00:01    |
From: pmenzel@molgen.mpg.de              Package: gnome-shell       Version: 49.4-1       Severity: normal       Upstream: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/8992              Dear Debian folks,                     Now idea if *gnome-shell* is the right package.              This is an Intel Kaby Lake laptop Dell XPS Debian with sid/unstable.               00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation Kaby       Lake-U GT2 [HD Graphics 620] [8086:5916] (rev 02)              I am not sure, but I think since upgrading to 49.3, switching workspace       and even windows sometimes takes up to ten seconds. Shortcuts like       pasting with Ctrl + v also lags, when it happens.              There are two upstream reports [1][2], where the second one is mine,       though it looks like a duplicate.              Unfortunately, I have no idea how to debug this. There is nothing in the       logs.                     Kind regards,              Paul                     [1]: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/9015       [2]: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/8992              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
