Good idea :)

BBBS runs really well under linux.. it's shareware, not freeware, but the
author did reduce the cost sometime in the past and still supports the product
and updates it.

I think I ran the shareware version for about 6 months until I was sure it
would do the job for me, when I switched from OS/2 to Linux.  It really
includes everything you can think of for running a bbs in Fidonet.
