I've been running Mystic under Windows and have not attempted Linux (yet) but
wanted to give it a go with the Pi, so this is all helpful info thanks..

Cool, thanks for sharing Darryl. I may yet pick your brains a bit (if that's
ok) as I try and set up a test system on the Pi.
