Be sure to tell a friend who works in sound reinforcement about
this conference.  There are numerous ways to access it, such as
regular nntp via your newsreader, telnet, dial-up bulletin boards,
etc.  

WIth many large internet providers in the U.s. discontinuing usenet
carriage, especially the alt hierarchy access to the only usenet
newsgroup related to this topic may be problematic unless you use
google.  IF you're using google, you're going to be bombarded with
the advertising.  GOogle's interface is also cumbersome compared to
a real newsreader, or a qwk reader for that matter.  

Other forums dedicated to this topic are browser dependent.   
THough activity is rather sparse here at present we expect that as
folks learn of this conference they'll be glad to have found a
readily accessible forum for the discussion of issues related to
sound reinforcement.  

so, be sure to drop by from time to time, and even post
occasionally .  THen spread the word.  

WE welcome the amateurs and those just learning or seeking basic
information as well.  THere are at least two professionals here who
will endeavor to help the neophyte with useful information.  SO,
before rushing right out to purchase new gear for your church
