Couple of things -

1. I think there are ways to make LORD-JS work on other BBSes other than
Synchronet.  I don't exactly know how per se (because I run Synchronet), but I
know many of the modules can be run outside of Synchonet (the IRC Server, for
example), I think the easiest way would be to install Synchronet just to get
jsexec and then have the BBS run jsexec as a door.

2. I'd run through the stuff on http://lord.lordlegacy.com/downloads/
There were lots of LORD IGM "construction kits" back in the day.  Most all of
the IGMs were written in Pascal, and Seth provided the formats of the files to
devs - I think lots of that stuff is still around on Lord Legacy.
