latest revision pulled from git still encounters this problem too

master segment started creating (region line still written)
but no segments included

the problem seems to be in the searchfiles() routines

it seems, that only one of the configured potential inbound and working
directories will be checked ?!?
as I've only see a notice about the \ul (Upload) directory
in the debug log

other directories configured:
master, update, mailfiles
that may contain an updated segment file or in fallback case, the one
that resides in the master dir ....


only \ul checked, but \ul doesn't contains any new segments. the segments
from weeks before resides in the master dir  \makenl ....
