 Well for your switch to makenl_ng it took some 12 years.

 That did not require changes to makenl, but probably some preprocessor
 for the CTL file. If the currently proposed update to PUBLish had been
 available you would have had one requirement less in your preprocessor.
 Now that everything has been working for quite some time, it is clear that
 no change is needed for you.
