No particular reason, other than I deal with a lot of Linux fans.

Ward understands this very well, about how every so often, someone comes
around and proclaims that Linux is the magical cure for all problems... just 
because its Linux. I respect people who run it, but they do not respect that 
it does not run here, it does not "work" for my needs. DOS/Windows does.

You cannot politely explain to such people the difference between the way a
wildcard-file function works on DOS versus Linux and how that potentially 
affects how a nodelist is processed.
