There is something which happens at many corporations this time of year,
which is more bad news for Democrats, benefits enrollment.  Many
nonunion workers will be seeing their new benefits packages for 2011 in
October.  With that they will see the sticker shock of much higher
healthcare costs and higher increases than ever before.  They'll know
that this will mean less money in their pockets in 2011 and even less
once the tax increases hit.  I just got my medical package for next
year.  My costs go up close to 50% this year.  In years past it has been
10-15% maximum.  November 2nd can't come soon enough.
