That would depend on what part of town it was in. When I was younger (1970/80s) I would have said "no" without thinking about it. When I got older, I learned that some of them did have bars in the back where people could hang out and drink. Also, because they often stayed open late, they might attract a rougher crowd latter at night, i.e. people who'd been partying elsewhere and were now hungry. The rougher the part of town, and whether or not that location had their own bar, might influence that location's reputation.
