Yeah, I remember Ned saying that.  :D   At the time, I assumed it was in
reference to the crowd that Denny's draws when they are open later in the
evening.

I can remember times when I was in college where the only two places where
the dining rooms were still open real late were Denny's and White Castle.  The
folks you'd run into that late were quite a bit "different" than the daytime
"family" crowds.  IIRC, there may have been some Denny's locations there
that were open 24 hours back then.
