By all means generate some conversation starters.  Last
season I think I started off posting the mlb schedule day by day, if you have
sources of good content that might draw the lurkers or interested folks from
various boards by all
means.

I used to subscribe to the usenet newsgroups for various
baseball teams back about ten years ago, but then they got
loaded with more spam than anything else.  TOpical content's always welcome
however.

I grew up in eastern Iowa, and naturally everybody around
there was either a Cardinals or Chi cubs fan it seemed.  We
used to have some of the best darned parties chartering a
bus to a cards cubs game from the city where I grew up.  I
think I rode on a couple of those way bck when.

I'd even neglected the usual first of month autopost of
rules in this conference, I was going to let it ride through this season and
see if anybody bit, if not let it drop into
the dead echo realm.  IF your gated sources start looking
good for the echo I could be persuaded to keep it alive
though.  I used to be quite a baseball nut, haven't had time in my old age,
but enjoy a good conversation on the subject
and appreciate your efforts.
