And I would add that it is primarily because of the convenient  
Fido2telebot system.

I don't use Telegram for much anything else except for one news  
channel and to connect with a couple of friends who are already  
pulled in other directions using WhatsApp, WeChat, and FB  
Messenger.

I don't own a tablet, or a fancy smartphone, so I'm definately  
the outlier of the "app" demographic.
