EB> What is QNX? Never heard of that before. It's a commercial real-time unix-like OS intended for embedded systems: eg, automobiles, smartphones, industrial controls, etc. Developed in Canada! A few guys from Waterloo University started up the company. I think the product had its beginnings in Blackberry devices. The Blackberry was developed by Research in Motion, in a building that was a few hundred meters from Canadian Marconi were I was working. Hopping over to Research in Motion seemed very tempting at one time. -- ../|ug --- OpenXP 5.0.50 * Origin: (2:221/1.58) SEEN-BY: 153/757 221/1 6 360 229/426 664 280/464 423/81 770/1 PATH: 221/1 6 229/664 426 |
