*Malicious housekeeping Android app steals credentials of multiple Malaysian
banks *

The fake app masquerading as a housekeeping service has reportedly been
utilized to steal online banking details from customers of eight Malaysian
Banks. (BleepingComputer)

The app - "Cleaning Service Malaysia" - was promoted through multiple fake or
cloned websites and social media sites to promote the malware.

After installing the app, the users are requested to approve permissions
including the ?Receive SMS? function which reads all texts on the phone,
including bank One Time Passwords
