Can't you (or BBS SysOp) > specify a charset on BBS? It's different from BBS to BBS. Here on this BBBS the CHRS will always be LATIN-1 unless a users changes their code page settings. On Synchronet it is dynamic. When SBBS saves a message it looks at the content and sets the CHRS based on what it finds. It may use a CHRS of "ASCII 1", "CP437 2" or "UTF-8 4" depending on what it sees in the message. --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Toy-5 * Origin: The Rusty MailBox - Penticton, BC Canada (1:153/757.3) SEEN-BY: 153/757 221/6 229/426 664 261/38 280/464 770/1 3634/24 PATH: 153/757 221/6 229/664 426 |
