I have the live action one with Linda Hamilton (I thought she was so
beautiful in that show) on DVD. I inherited it from my aunt that
passed away. It was really beautifully produced the sets were so
rich and they did a good job with Vincent.

I do not like the Kristen Kreuk version ... it started strong but as
the story progressed I did not like where they went with it and got
bored with it.

But that's not the "Disney" side of the coin.

The cartoon "Tale as old as time" and the play were something
special I took my little cousins too... (Yeah I'm the cool "uncle"
that's really a cousin) I even take a lot of the neighborhood kids
with us when we go movie. Thank GOD for the $1.50 value theater.

This new one, while the effects look intensely intersting, does not
appeal to me... it seems like they are just re-doing it for the sake
of making a buck and upgrading it to something that will hold the
attention of the "modern" kids who think what we liked back in the
day sucks.

My little cousins must be wierd they usually will like the older
stuff better. But then they understand how to use a rotary dial on
a land line.

Allen
